Paver terrace laid to the outdoor kitchen with edge restraint exposed and the pool excavation still open alongside

Pool terrace, kitchen, deck drainage

Poolscape Terrace & Outdoor Kitchen

The brief

A pool and terrace built as one operation rather than two — the paving, the kitchen and the deck drainage were set out while the pool excavation was still open.

The site

Sequencing was the whole problem. Getting the terrace base, the edge restraint and the drainage in while the pool shell was still being worked meant one mobilisation instead of two, and no cutting into finished paving later to chase a line.

What we built

  • Paver terrace field with a contrasting soldier-course border, run from the house to the pool edge
  • Masonry outdoor kitchen clad in natural stone veneer, with a built-in grill and counter run
  • Edge restraint and spiking set before backfill
  • Deck drainage and low-voltage lighting conduit routed before the field closed
  • Crushed-stone drainage bed to the pool surround

Self-performed

Excavation · Base preparation · Paving and masonry · Drainage

Our own machines and our own operators — not a subcontractor’s schedule, and not a second margin on the biggest line item.

We’ll walk the property, talk through how you actually want to use it, and give you a clear read on scope and budget before anything is drawn or dug.
